Since the heartbreaking news, tributes have continued to pour in from notable Nollywood actors, each expressing sorrow and offering words of comfort to the grieving mother.

“This is a big loss. God will console you ma and the whole family. E le yi po oo".
For actor Kunle Afod, the pain was almost unbearable. He admitted his “heart has been heavy since hearing the news.”
Femi Adebayo shared:
“Life has written a line too heavy for the stage… Today, we mourn with our dear elder, a thespian whose heart now carries the weight no mother should bear. May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
Actor Ibrahim Yekini (Itele D Icon) captured the depth of sorrow, saying:
“A mother’s pain in losing her child is beyond words. Olorun ma fi ina omo jo gbogbo abiamo.”
Others like Muyiwa Ademola and Adedimeji Lateef also described the loss as “too much to bear” and prayed for divine strength for the Ogunmola family.
Just last year, in a heartfelt birthday post to her son, Peju Ogunmola had expressed her deep affection, writing:
“Yes, you’re a little older, but still my baby boy. May you make the absolute most out of this year and get everything you want in God’s name. I love you till death my darling son!!!”
Now, those words ring painfully in the hearts of fans and colleagues as Nollywood rallies to support her during this unimaginable time.
