Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have joyfully welcomed their second child.
The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram on Friday, expressing deep gratitude to God for blessing their family with another “precious gift.”
Their post read: “The Lord has done it again! He has increased our joy, multiplied our laughter, and gifted us with the blessing of a second child. We proclaim that His name will remain exalted in our lineage, and generations after us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and nations will call us blessed. To God be the glory—welcome, our precious gift.”
Mercy also used the opportunity to appreciate her husband, celebrating him as “an amazing father of two,” while acknowledging God’s unwavering goodness in their lives.
She wrote: “Oh my love @theofficialblessed—an amazing father of TWO! Truly, the Lord has been good to us.”
The couple, who tied the knot in August 2022, had their first child in October 2023. Since the announcement, fans and fellow gospel artists have flooded their social media pages with congratulatory messages, describing the new addition as another testimony of God’s faithfulness in their marriage and ministry.
